The 2016 PLAY THE DRAFT® contest (“Contest”) is a free fantasy game experience that gives football fans a way to stay engaged during the off-season. PLAY THE DRAFT® answers THE question during draft season – “Whose draft stock is rising and whose is falling?” Better info. Better contests. Better conversations.

PLAY THE DRAFT® is an easy to play fantasy game experience that appeals to sports fans.

  • Begin play with $12,000,000 of fantasy salary cap dollars in a fund
  • Funds are automatically populated with randomly selected draft stocks at sign-up. Keep the ones you like or sell them all and start fresh.
  • Buy, sell or watch any fantasy draft stocks in the exchange to find undervalued athletes relative to where you THINK they will be selected in the draft.
  • There is no limit on the number of trades, and the highest fund value for each competition at the conclusion of the third round of the draft wins.
  • Watch the Draft on April 28 for an interactive viewing experience!

Once registered, users can join a public contest or create one or more private leagues to play with up to 15 players free. New funds and new leagues can be created at any time during draft season…even up to just prior to the start of the first round on April 28. Don’t just watch the draft this year, make the draft viewing experience interactive with PLAY THE DRAFT®!

Users may create or join a league of other users to compete against. Private leagues are collections of people -- friends, colleagues, co-workers, whomever -- who have agreed to have their own private contest. When creating a league, users will be asked to enter a league name which can be used by other users, along with a provided access code, to join the league at any time. No prizes are awarded by the Administrator for private league play, but a private league heading is provided for league managers to communicate to participants what the league is playing for (e.g. Bragging Rights).

More than one Contest hosted by the Administrator will run during the 2016 draft season. Users may register to play at any time during the Contest Period. Additional contests will run for different durations during draft season with a public league competition planned for “Draft Month” and “Draft Week” as momentum builds leading up to the prime time televised event.

The Contest is open to individuals fourteen (14) years of age or older as of January 1, 2016. Legal residents of any jurisdiction other than the 50 United States and the District of Columbia are not eligible to win any prizes. By registering, users agree to accept and be bound by all terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of Administrator and Contest Entities, which shall be final. Contest may not be used in connection with any form of gambling. Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Users may enter at any time during the Contest Period by registering online. Users will be asked to submit their email address and create a password that will be used for future logins. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, the dispute will be resolved in favor of the individual who is the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. Authorized account holder is defined as the natural person assigned an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (i.e., business or educational institution) responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Each user, determined by his or her unique email address, can play with no more than one fund in each Contest.

By entering the Contest, users grant Administrator and Contest Entities the right, without obligation, to use their names, game and league names, score, ranking, pictures and likeness, without compensation, for the purpose of executing the Contest and also for the purpose of advertising and publicizing the goods and services related to the Contest in any manner or medium throughout the world in perpetuity unless prohibited by law.
